Join Smoke Stacks as a Chimney Technician and help keep homes safe and cozy! You'll inspect and clean gas and wood-burning fireplaces and chimneys with full training and support from our team.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and clean fireplaces and chimneys
- Use tablets to complete and send inspection reports
- Provide excellent customer service on-site
- Work independently or on a team as needed
- On-site phone assistance is always available
Requirements:
- Must Possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be CSIA/NFI certified
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable using smartphones/tablets
- Basic computer skills
- Housecall Pro experience a plus (not required)
Preferred Background:
Experience in gas/wood fireplaces, HVAC, gas plumbing, carpentry, or roofing

Job description:
The Chimney Mason Tender/Laborer is responsible for proactively helping the mason or job lead complete work within the specified time frame. The Chimney Mason Tender/Laborer is the Chimney Masons’ right-hand person and will follow all direction provided by the mason or job lead.
Reporting
The Chimney Mason Tender/ Laborer reports to the Lead Chimney Mason/Job Leader
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license with demonstrated clean, safe driving record
- Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions clearly
- Inform mason of any issues with equipment, material, or unforeseen events
Working Conditions
- This position will work in multiple environments either indoor or outdoor settings with fluctuating temperatures
- Ability to lift, climb, twist, bend, work in tight spaces for frequent or infrequent intervals
- Ability to work from rooftops and carry materials up and down scaffolding or ladders as needed
